The case solves a common pain point for handheld gamers by combining protection, power, and ergonomics, enabling uninterrupted play during travel. Its integrated design could set a new standard for Steam Deck accessories and influence broader portable‑gaming accessory trends.
The Steam Deck has become the flagship handheld PC for gamers on the move, prompting accessory makers to address its unique portability challenges. JSAUX’s new Double‑Decker Travel Supply Case arrives at a time when travelers demand both protection and uninterrupted power. By combining a rigid, water‑resistant shell with dedicated compartments, the case shields the console from shocks, splashes, and scratches while keeping essential peripherals within arm’s reach. This design reflects a growing niche where hardware manufacturers and third‑party vendors collaborate to extend the handheld’s usability beyond the living room.
What sets the JSAUX case apart is its built‑in charging architecture. A lower deck houses a 65 W Power Delivery channel, routed through an included dual 90° USB‑C cable that can connect directly to the Steam Deck without removing it from the case. The silicone‑lined vents actively disperse heat generated by fast charging or intensive gaming sessions, mitigating thermal throttling risks. Coupled with an optional 20 000 mAh power bank, users can sustain up to several hours of play, effectively turning the case into a mobile power station.
At $39.99 for the shell alone and $85.99 for the bundled power bank, the solution positions itself competitively against bulkier travel bags and separate chargers. Early adopters, especially commuters and train travelers, stand to benefit from the integrated stand and screen cover that double as a tabletop workstation. As the handheld market matures, accessories that blend protection, power, and ergonomics will likely become standard expectations. JSAUX’s approach may push rivals to innovate, accelerating a wave of multifunctional cases that keep portable gaming sessions seamless and hassle‑free.

Accessory maker JSAUX just revealed their new “Double‑Decker Travel Supply Case” for the Steam Deck LCD & OLED that’s charging‑friendly.
This seems like a travel case for every occasion, especially with the included space to run a charger while it’s in the case too. Something that usually wouldn’t be a very good idea due to heat, but they say the design of it with ventilation will really help with that. The extra storage for a charger, battery pack and cables is nice without the case looking too big.

On top of that, the case can be used as a stand too, which could be especially useful when you don’t have a lot of space.

From their store page:
Double‑Decker Storage System for Steam Deck – Upper layer securely fits the Steam Deck, while the lower layer stores a power bank, charger, HDMI cable, and accessories—keeping the console and accessories separated and protected.
Play While Charging Inside the Case – The lower compartment holds a power bank (not included), and the included dual 90° USB‑C to USB‑C cable is routed inside the case to directly charge the Steam Deck. Supports up to 65 W PD fast charging, allowing uninterrupted gameplay.
Assisted Cooling Vent Design – External silicone vents provide heat dissipation assistance during charging or high‑load gaming, reducing heat buildup and helping maintain stable performance during extended play.
All‑Around Protective Structure for Travel – 900D water‑resistant exterior with soft padded interior protects against splashes, shocks, and scratches during daily carry and travel.
Foldable Screen Cover with Built‑In Stand Function – The front screen cover folds into a stable stand, allowing the Steam Deck to stand upright inside the case while charging. Ideal for tabletop gaming, video streaming, cloud play, or media viewing—no additional stand required.

JSAUX said one is on the way to GamingOnLinux to take a look at it, so hopefully sometime soon I’ll be able to see what I think. I do a lot of train travel so this could be really useful.
Pricing starts at $39.99 for just the case, and $85.99 with their 65 W 20000 mAh power‑bank. I actually already have that exact power‑bank from JSAUX that they sent along a good while ago and it really works great.
See more on the JSAUX store.
