Why It Matters

For HR professionals and tech investors, understanding these tools and their market traction is crucial for staying competitive in a rapidly evolving hiring landscape.

Key Takeaways

  • •Juicebox secures $80M Series B, triples ARR since 2025.
  • •Juicebox AI agents cut candidate search time up to 90%.
  • •Talvy raises $2M to replace resumes with short video profiles.
  • •Persona launches global ID verification, targeting deep‑fake hiring threats.
  • •Phenom gains FedRAMP, targets $15‑17B public‑sector HR market.

Pulse Analysis

Juicebox announced an $80 million Series B round led by DST Global, pushing its valuation past the $1 billion mark. Since its July 2025 Series A, the outbound recruiting platform has tripled annual recurring revenue and now serves five enterprise customers—including Ramp, Cursor, and Sampsera—who report up to a 90 percent reduction in time spent identifying top talent. Powered by AI‑driven agents that crawl a massive talent graph, Juicebox has executed more than 560 000 searches and engaged over three million candidates, positioning it as a scalable alternative to traditional sourcing teams. The fresh capital will accelerate product development, expand the go‑to‑market engine, and fund a new London office to capture European demand.

Meanwhile, Cambridge‑based Talvy secured a $2 million seed round from Link Ventures to push its video‑first professional profiles into the mainstream. By swapping static résumés for short‑form videos, Talvy adds communication style, energy, and interpersonal presence to the hiring signal, while its natural‑language search surfaces the most relevant clips for recruiters. In parallel, Persona rolled out a candidate verification suite that checks government IDs across 200 countries, runs real‑time liveness checks, and detects deep‑fake impersonation—a response to Gartner’s forecast that one in four online profiles will be fraudulent by 2028. These innovations reflect a broader shift toward richer, more trustworthy candidate data.

Phenom, a leader in talent experience platforms, announced FedRAMP certification and a strategic push into the public‑sector HR software market. By adapting its WorkOps workflow engine for federal, state, and local agencies, Phenom aims to tap an estimated $15‑$17 billion total addressable market in government talent management. Although sales cycles in the public arena are lengthy, the move signals confidence that AI‑enhanced recruiting tools can address chronic staffing challenges in government. Together, the funding milestones for Juicebox, Talvy, and Phenom illustrate accelerating investment in AI, video, and verification technologies that are reshaping talent acquisition worldwide.
