A Quiet Player Makes a Big Move: Qube Cinema Acquires Arts Alliance Media

Arts Alliance Media, the software backbone for over 42,000 cinema screens, entered administration in November 2025, prompting industry concern over service continuity. Qube Cinema, an Indian‑origin digital‑cinema technology group, acquired AAM’s theatre‑management system (Screenwriter), contracts and a small UK/US staff. The deal preserves existing support for major chains while giving Qube a proven TMS platform to complement its servers, mastering and content‑delivery services. By integrating Screenwriter, Qube expands its end‑to‑end cinema stack and blocks a potential monopoly by Unique X.
