City Detect, Which Uses AI to Help Cities Stay Safe and Clean, Raises $13M Series A
City Detect announced a $13 million Series A round led by Prudence Venture Capital, bringing its total funding to $15 million. The startup equips municipal vehicles with vision‑AI cameras to automatically capture and analyze building conditions, enabling thousands of inspections per week versus the manual 50. Operating in at least 17 U.S. cities, the platform flags graffiti, illegal dumping, structural damage and storm impact while blurring faces and plates for privacy. The new capital will fund additional engineers, enhance storm‑damage detection, and accelerate nationwide expansion.
