WERC’s 2026 DC Measures Report Delivers Benchmarks
The Warehousing Education & Research Council (WERC) unveiled its 2026 DC Measures Report, titled “The Strategic Paradox: Aligning Strategy to Drive Innovation in a Cost-First Era,” at its Jacksonville conference. The benchmark study, based on 2025‑2026 surveys, captured input from manufacturers, retailers, 3PLs and life‑science firms, with international respondents rising to 17.2%. It highlights the five most‑tracked metrics—on‑time shipments, dock‑to‑stock cycle time, average and peak warehouse capacity, and backorder rates. The report and an upgraded online benchmarking tool are free for corporate members, while individual copies cost $200 and non‑members $550.
