Why It Matters

The platform gives enterprises holistic control over fragmented data, reducing breach risk while enabling safe AI adoption, a critical need as data moves faster than traditional tools can track.

Key Takeaways

  • •Unified platform merges DSPM, DLP, IRM, AI security.
  • •Provides full data lineage across cloud, endpoint, on‑prem.
  • •Agentic AI reduces false positives, automates incident response.
  • •Turnkey Services accelerate deployment and program maturity.
  • •Secures generative AI use with visibility and guardrails.

Pulse Analysis

The explosion of cloud workloads, remote workstations and generative‑AI tools has left data scattered across dozens of silos. Traditional data loss prevention and cloud‑only DSPM products can only see a fraction of that landscape, creating blind spots that attackers and insider threats exploit. Executives are therefore looking for solutions that can map data flows end‑to‑end, attach context to each fragment, and keep pace with machine‑speed movements. Cyberhaven’s new platform positions itself as that end‑to‑end answer, promising visibility wherever data lives or travels.

At the core of the offering is a unified data lineage engine that records the origin, transformation and destination of every data object across cloud apps, endpoints and on‑prem systems. This lineage fuels an agentic AI layer capable of classifying sensitive information, flagging anomalous flows and automatically enforcing policies without relying on static tags. By consolidating DSPM, DLP and insider risk management into a single architecture, Cyberhaven claims to cut false‑positive rates and accelerate incident investigations, delivering real‑time, explainable enforcement that aligns with compliance mandates.

The announcement also bundles Turnkey Services and an Insider Threat Intelligence Service, aimed at shortening time‑to‑value and providing actionable insights on insider behavior and AI‑driven attacks. For enterprises wrestling with rapid AI adoption, the platform’s built‑in guardrails promise to secure generative‑AI workloads while maintaining data privacy. Analysts see this move as a signal that the market is shifting toward integrated, AI‑enhanced data protection suites rather than point products. As regulatory pressure mounts, organizations that adopt such holistic solutions could gain a competitive edge in risk management and innovation.

Cyberhaven Introduces Unified AI and Data Security Platform

Cyberhaven Announces Data Security Posture Management Solution

Cyberhaven is releasing its Data Security Posture Management solution, a key part of its unified AI and data security platform, purpose‑built to protect sensitive data wherever it lives and goes, including endpoints, SaaS, cloud, on‑prem environments, and AI workflows.

According to the company, the platform combines DSPM, data loss prevention (DLP), insider risk management (IRM), and AI security in a single architecture, giving security teams continuous visibility, context, and control as data fragments and moves at machine speed.

Unlike standalone DSPM tools that focus narrowly on cloud storage, Cyberhaven’s DSPM delivers holistic coverage across where data originates, how it moves, and where it is ultimately exposed.

Cyberhaven is built on comprehensive data lineage and agentic AI that understands what data is, where it came from, how it moved, and why it matters, the company said.

“AI has democratized intelligence, but it has also magnified data risk,” said Nishant Doshi, CEO of Cyberhaven. “Because of fragmented data, security teams can no longer rely on point tools that see only part of the picture. As data moves in fragments, snippets, and derivatives that evade traditional controls like tags and labels, organizations need a solution that follows data wherever it lives and goes.”

At the core of the platform is Cyberhaven’s ability to capture full data lineage across cloud applications, endpoints, and on‑prem systems. This lineage provides the context needed for AI‑driven data understanding, allowing security teams to accurately classify data, reduce false positives, and focus on real risk. Agentic AI then uses that context to detect risky data flows, investigate incidents, and guide response, without disrupting users or slowing the business.

In addition to announcing new product releases, Cyberhaven introduced new customer‑experience offerings, including Turnkey Services and the Insider Threat Intelligence Service, plus expanded analyst services. These offerings help customers deploy faster, mature their data security programs, and stay ahead of emerging insider and AI‑driven risks, the company said.

Cyberhaven’s unified platform helps organizations:

  • Discover and assess sensitive data across endpoints, SaaS, cloud, and on‑prem systems

  • Minimize exposure by identifying redundant, obsolete, and over‑shared data

  • Enable AI adoption securely with visibility and guardrails for generative AI use

  • Reduce insider risk with contextual detection and faster investigations

  • Stop data loss with real‑time, explainable enforcement and user feedback

“Cyberhaven’s platform is built on the foundation of deeper data context, complete data lineage across cloud, endpoint, and on‑prem environments,” said Prashant Jain, VP of product management and product marketing at Cyberhaven. “With a unified approach, Cyberhaven enables organizations to discover and assess sensitive data everywhere, minimize unnecessary exposure, adopt generative AI securely, reduce insider risk, and stop data loss in real time.”

The Cyberhaven unified data security platform is available today.
