The expanded leadership team positions V2 AI to capture growing enterprise AI spending and accelerate delivery of end‑to‑end AI solutions.
The global enterprise AI market is entering a rapid expansion phase, with analysts projecting cumulative spending to exceed $200 billion by 2028. Companies are moving beyond pilot projects toward full‑scale, agentic AI deployments that automate decision‑making across functions. In this climate, consultancy firms that can blend strategic vision with deep technical execution are in high demand. V2 AI, a specialist data and AI consultancy, has been scaling its practice to meet this surge, recently adding three senior executives to reinforce its service offering and market reach.
Hannah Williams arrives as Managing Director after a decade of senior roles at Amazon, most recently heading the Amazon LEO business in the Asia‑Pacific and Japan region. Her experience in cloud‑native platforms and large‑scale AI product launches equips V2 AI to accelerate client growth and partnership development. Peter Burns, a former Google Account Executive, brings close to 30 years of expertise spanning fintech, retail and telecommunications, enhancing V2’s ability to sell complex AI solutions. Michael Ewald, previously Managing Director at PwC Australia, adds two decades of cloud transformation leadership, strengthening V2’s delivery capabilities.
The trio’s combined background gives V2 AI a competitive edge in securing high‑value contracts and expanding its footprint in sectors such as banking, retail and technology. By deepening existing client relationships and increasing bandwidth for new projects, the firm can address the accelerating demand for agentic AI that integrates governance, ethics and operational scalability. Industry observers see the hires as a signal that boutique AI consultancies are scaling to rival larger players, positioning V2 AI to capture a larger share of the burgeoning AI services market.

Data and AI consultancy firm V2 AI has significantly boosted its senior executive leadership team with three appointments, bringing on Hannah Williams, Peter Burns and Michael Ewald.
Hannah Williams – Managing Director
Williams takes up the position of Managing Director, coming into the fold with over a decade of experience in the IT industry, including nearly eight years in leadership roles at Amazon. Prior to V2, she was Head of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) for Amazon LEO. She has also worked with WorkFusion and SAP.
Peter Burns – Partner
Burns joins as a Partner with close to 30 years of experience in IT‑related roles. His most recent position was at Google as an Account Executive. He has also held roles at FICO, First Data Corporation, PIC Solutions, Woolworths, and Standard Bank.
Michael Ewald – Director
Ewald joins as a Director after having led large‑scale technology, cloud, and transformation programmes for more than 20 years. Before V2, he was Managing Director at PwC Australia and has held senior positions at Contino, Q Centric Solutions, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, Jetstreamedia, AMP, and Adstream, among others.
Commenting on the appointment trifecta, V2 founder and CEO Craig Howe said the hires reflect the firm’s “continued investment in leadership that combines strategic insight, delivery excellence and commercial impact”.
“These appointments enable us to deepen partnerships with existing clients, helping them shape their AI agenda from initial strategy through to broad execution,” he said. “Simultaneously, this growth expands our capacity to take on new projects and meet the surging demand for agentic AI.”
Williams’ role as Managing Director will focus on client growth and partnerships, while Howe will maintain his focus on guiding clients on AI strategies and the firm’s long‑term vision and growth.
V2’s triple appointment comes months after hiring Ian Nguyen in December last year as a Partner to strengthen its market leadership.
