Twelve's AirPlant One, a commercial e‑fuels facility in Moses Lake, Washington, began operations using direct‑air capture of CO₂ combined with green hydrogen. The plant will produce up to 50,000 gallons (about 189,000 liters) of synthetic jet fuel (e‑SAF) and green‑hydrogen‑based naphtha each year. Alaska Airlines and Microsoft have signed purchase agreements, with Microsoft also investing in the project. Twelve has already demonstrated naphtha‑derived CO₂ polymers for automotive, eyewear and detergent applications.
