DPP Link Rolls Out GS1 Shield for ESPR Rules

DPP Link has launched its GS1‑integrated Shield platform to help exporters and manufacturers meet the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). The solution automates product registration using GS1 Digital Link standards and tracks material composition with a ten‑year data retention window. With the EU Digital Product Passport registry becoming operational on 19 July 2026, non‑compliance could trigger customs delays and financial penalties. Shield targets high‑priority sectors such as textiles, electronics, furniture, steel, toys and building materials.
