Zelestra Advances Klevenow Solar Build

Zelestra is advancing construction of its 27 MWdc Klevenow solar plant in Mecklenburg‑Vorpommern, targeting commercial operation by the end of Q2 2026. The project, secured through Germany’s EEG tenders, will generate roughly 28,700 MWh annually and avoid about 9,500 tonnes of CO₂ each year. Ground‑mounting posts are in place, half of the low‑voltage cabling is installed, and the HV transformer is positioned, with modules arriving within two weeks. Zelestra also plans a 30 MWh battery energy storage system to hybridise the site and is eyeing over 120 MW of additional solar capacity in Germany this year.
