The 12th Revised Edition of USALI introduces an Energy, Water, and Waste (EWW) schedule that obliges hotels to report both the cost and consumption of water in their financial statements. By capturing gallons or cubic meters alongside monetary expenses, properties can calculate water‑per‑occupied‑room, per‑available‑room, and per‑square‑foot intensity metrics.
