Global Asset Manager Mirae Asset Eyes Fund Tokenisation in UAE with Ctrl Alt Deal

Mirae Asset Global Investments, managing over $350 billion, signed an MoU with UAE fintech Ctrl Alt to explore tokenising investment funds. The partnership will develop a compliant framework for issuing and managing tokenised funds under the UAE’s VARA regulations, starting with locally domiciled assets and later expanding across the GCC. Ctrl Alt will provide end‑to‑end blockchain infrastructure, enabling smart‑contract automation of onboarding, capital calls and other back‑office functions. The initiative aims to cut costs, speed transactions and broaden access to alternative assets for institutional and retail investors.
