I keep seeing this take and I just don’t think any serious business will waste time and resources on vibe coding internal tools to replace SaaS subscriptions. Some might give it a go and it makes a good headline for the quarterly report, but after discovering how much it costs to maintain and continue development of vibe coded internal tools, I bet that the traditional SaaS model prevails.
I talked with one entrepreneur today that is building a prediction market. Crowds of humans are still better but AI is improving at a fast rate. Here is a prediction market for your Claws. Worth checking out. Not compensated by them.
Yikes. If this is true, then it’s both pretty ingenious and supremely negligent. I wonder what percentage of users have done a code audit of Openclaw. And what other fun ToS-voiding surprises lurk in there.
If you want to sell or license, or scale your brand someday, you can’t be the one holding it together today. 🫢 You need to build a business that delivers consistent quality, with or without you in the room. That requires repeatable...
“You’re about to have 100x more competitors because of AI” People cloned my app even when there was no AI. Half-assed attempts by non-serious people trying to make a quick buck, that then faded into obscurity. I imagine vibe-coded competitors to...

Facilitated an AI MVP workshop and here is what we built in 30 mins 👌🏾
I was building products nobody wanted, burning money on APIs, and watching SaaS after SaaS stall out. So yeah, not my finest chapter. And when you're stuck in that loop, you start asking different questions. The one that changed everything: "Am I solving MY...

IBM, a 115-year-old company, pioneered AI with Watson a decade ago. Today, a 3-year-old startup (Anthropic) just wiped $28 billion off IBM’s market cap. Mercy is for the weak.
I’m thinking of starting a SaaS mastermind ✨ Other SaaS founders ✨ Over $40,000 MRR ✨ Bootstrapped or seed only ✨ High intent / dialed in Any #buildinpublic people interested?

Building an AI MVP with no-code is the easy part. The hard part? 👉 Understanding the full architecture 👉 Knowing what to check before and after deployment 👉 Catching risks before users do That’s where real technical knowledge shows up. Anyone can ship a demo. Very few...
Agentic coding highlights the age-old truth that "writing code is cheap," while writing good code is extremely expensive. You could always pay someone inexperienced very little to kinda get it done. But real quality had its price. Zero difference when AI is...
It’s wild that in a time where Google account are one of the most popular choice for logging into any 3rd-party service, they can be arbitrarily banned like this. Own your email. Own your domain. Don’t delegate. Sucks that this is...
AI moves the goalposts for raising preseed capital: less “tell me your product idea” more “show me what you built and how customers react” In the 1990s people raised $5m+ just to build the v1 of their website. In 2000s that...
your product gets better every week, but your CAC gets worse every month Can your product get good enough to generate organic growth before your marketing channels saturate with scale? AI is going to supercharge this conflict. We’ll write even more and...
He turned a mall booth with taped signs into a $3B fintech. Matt Oppenheimer built Remitly by falling in love with the problem, not the product. He stood outside a remittance store, asked customers why they said no, and pivoted fast. He raised...

This is great. A list of all the products Hacker News thought would never work. Sure, the default to response to ANY project on HN is that it could be copied on a weekend. But this list is _strong_ 🤣 https://t.co/4AiXf2WiXw

For the 2,300+ of you who bookmarked the full playbook. We both know you’re not reading all that. So I turned it into a list of the 7 things I see actually working right now for launching a SaaS from...
Let me re-introduce myself. My name is Henri Pierre-Jacques and I am co-founder of @HarlemCapital, a fund backing the next generation of winners. My mission is to build rooms that didn't exist before. Not more seats at someone else's table, entire rooms. I...
You’re too busy building the “foundations” of your agency to work on the only thing that matters. You don’t need: ↳ A logo ↳ A CRM ↳ An LLC ↳ A tagline ↳ A website ↳ A rebrand ↳ A pitch deck ↳ A brand guide ↳ An office space ↳...

Top paid experts all have one thing in common: They sell ideas (not just time). And iIdea owners get rich. Simon Sinek charges $100K+ for a keynote today. But before his famous “Start With Why” TED Talk? He was a relatively unknown marketing consultant. One...

Almost always: Double-down on your strengths rather than blunt weakness. Exception: When a weakness is directly blocking your goals or an obstacle to the most important next steps for the company. Even then, just mute it, don’t try to “turn it into...

And this is peak "innovators" phase of adoption. Consider that during the earliest product adoption phase, non-technical folks are already doing the thing many believe "no one will ever do." We, the founders, need to adjust our system of beliefs NOW.
I had the privilege of moderating a panel with a Midas List VC a few months back. One insight she shared has changed my view on investing. She said the number one thing she looks for is clarity of vision. That sounds...
Starting a company is extremely challenging. That’s why I like having cofounders. Someone is always there to pick you up when you’re down.
Question for the @laravelphp Spark users out there, ideally the Paddle version: how have you extended billing for things like credits/optional subscriptions/one-time-payments? Anything more comprehensive out there? Is there a migration path?

Entrepreneurs: NEVER beg a VC for a check, it tickles their ego and rewards disrespect. Grow to $50K MRR, watch them come begging.
I failed for 6 years straight before anything worked. I was living with my parents, had $0 in my bank account multiple times, and just wondered if I was smart enough to become rich. For me winning stopped being about money,...
Right now, founders have two choices. One, they can pretend like they're living under a rock with their product, even if they have strong product-market fit right now. Or two, they can realize that product-market fit evolves faster than ever...

When Clinician Entrepreneurs can’t get adoption, the Number 1 mistake is to think: “It’s not a product problem, it’s a sales problem.” Sorry but 99% of the time it IS a product problem. I’ve seen it over qnd over again from...
Everyone at the bar: Let me buy you a drink. Ecom founders at the bar: Calculating whether that $8 cocktail would be better spent on ad testing. Different mindset. Different life.
Key man risk is why most small businesses never sell. If your company depends on you, buyers apply a discount or walk away. In some service firms, the discount hits 100%, which means the business has no standalone value. Document processes, hire leaders,...
Part of the issue is that certain influencers are pitching OpenClaw and AI consulting as “easy money.”
Best product characteristics for scaling in ecom: - High margin (80% gross) - Clear unique selling proposition - Can run variations without confusing the brand - Works on Facebook without needing education - Not easily replicated - Has repeat purchase potential or natural gifting angle - Can...
