#A24’s over-performs at US #BoxOffice with their new R-rated #Undertone, after grossing SPECTACULAR 9.3M over just 2.570 theatres on #5 BIGGEST 3-day Opening weekend in #A24’s history, and almost on par with 2023 #TalkToMe’s 10.4M debut, with a solid $3.6k average per theatre. Moviegoers might have hated #Undertone, but the smart marketing was effective to lure them all on opening weekend, so even if no one else gives it a chance from now onwards, it’s already one of the biggest financial hits Post-Covid, grossing over 18x its cheap $500k production price tag on opening weekend alone.
