This was my fear. That @waymo's lack of decentralization, and its problems over the weekend, would increase calls for regulation. Which should increase calls for decentralization, and grid hardening (IE a lot more batteries to back everything up) if our politicians were rational. Which they aren't. Delaying autonomous vehicles will cost many more lives and decrease our productivity. I'm quite certain that Waymo can move to a more decentralized system. Every robot should complete its task even if it can't talk to the centralized server. Tesla can because of how it was designed. Which is why it didn't go down. A Tesla can drive through a dark intersection even if it has no connection to the Internet. Decentralized systems are the way to go. Regulators should insist on such.
I find automated math proving with AI not hugely interesting What is most interesting is how we can leverage AI to enable more intuition and inspiration like Ramanujan Save the proofs for later, dare to explore and do what we do best...

The goal of AI should not be to replace human thought and human agency, but to expand them. Not everything needs to be automated.
WOW - I just published my entire 2025 AI Year in Review. What an insane year. From Claude Opus 4.5 and GPT-5.2 to AI agents, $5 trillion market caps, and data centers driving 92% of US GDP growth, to enterprise...

What are people missing about the dancing robot video from @UnitreeRobotics? Each robot is taught by humans. They didn't come up with the dance all by themselves. Maybe they will someday, but even the Chinese tell me generalized robots run by...

70k YouTube subscribers after 6 years. Sounds simple on paper. It wasn’t. For the first few years, everything felt easy. I was covering AI research papers, I loved it, and people loved it too. Consistency wasn’t a struggle because the content was...
LLMs represent the "library" phase of AI. The next phase will be the "scientist" phase. A library contains answers, but a scientist knows how to find answers that don't exist yet.
So cool. @Tiny_Fish just shipped Mino, a way to programmatically interact with *any* website through browser automation and AI-powered navigation. Give it a URL and a goal in plain English, it does the work and returns structured JSON. No API? Not a problem...
NY Gov. Hochul let the cat out of the bag. She says NY is “setting the national standard” on AI regulation. Is that what Red States want? Republicans must unify behind President Trump’s One Rulebook, otherwise NY & CA will...

In marketing everyone is searching for the next big thing. My advice? Stop chasing trends. Instead figure out how to do common things uncommonly well.
New polling shows that the public favors a single national AI framework over a 50 state patchwork by 20 points, and moreover, supports executive action until Congress can act. Total vindication for President Trump’s One Rulebook approach. https://t.co/PqJwslcuYz

If you’re building with LLMs in 2025, “prompting” is table stakes. LLM engineering is the real differentiator. This infographic nails the 8 skills that separate demos from production-grade AI: 1. Prompt engineering — clarity, constraints, and evaluation-ready prompts 2. Context...
The fastest way to tell whether a team is learning is to look for moments where someone had to revise their view because reality contradicted it. If those moments are rare, the system is insulated. It may be busy, but it...
