I’ve probably made more money directly from posting on LinkedIn than anyone else. In March 2024, I posted an idea for RB2B on LinkedIn. Solicited feedback, iterated in public, pivoted in front of everyone, and built the product while you watched. 18 months later: $6.6M ARR. 100% from LinkedIn. Hardly any employees, and zero traditional sales. I grew 140K followers while building a multi-million dollar business in real-time. Every product iteration, customer discovery call, and feature launch was documented publicly. Many of you on Twitter don't know this story. You weren't there. LinkedIn can be cringe. The engagement bait, the humble brags, the “I'm so grateful” posts. But what's not cringe is a $6.6M ARR SaaS company built entirely through founder-led content. Twitter may think that LinkedIn is cringe. But you can be cool on Twitter, or you can make millions on LinkedIn. The ROI doesn't care which platform you think is cringe.
How do you actually learn from your customers in B2B? I get asked a lot about my biggest learnings from my last company (Gainsight). It's hard to not feel cliched. Culture! Focus! Strategy! But there's a thing I did 1000+ times that...
Fun fact: Fizzy is using UUIDv7 primary keys. Plan is to offer import/export between our SaaS hosting and people's own on-prem installations. Start on SaaS, grab your own SQLite DB, then run it yourself (or the other way!). Will upstream...

good intro to a couple of concepts/approaches to memory. not sure i agree agents need to forget, but I agree some sort of strategy is required to make sure you’re efficiently pulling only data you need into the context. i think current...
The bigger problem with Gemini 3's glazing is it self-reinforces its own bias in the next output. You need to tell it to check itself because it gets in a loop where it starts getting too hyped up even if...

I love Gemini 3 but the glazing / sycophancy / weird stilted speech is way worse than any other big lab model.

Wild marketing play for ChatGPT memory, especially with ad rumors flying: Don’t make an ad go viral. Make a prompt go viral. Put your brand inside the prompt by name, by image, by examples, by code words. Show people using it. Get thousands...
Unlike Campfire, where we shared a zero-history copy of the codebase, Fizzy's public codebase has the entire life of the product development cycle out in the open. 1,792 pull requests of historical fun and insight into how we make things...
We're barely a few minutes into the public life of Fizzy, and @marcoroth_ has already tidied up some HTML errors, which we've already deployed to production in 124 seconds with Kamal 🤘 https://t.co/lYwPHqLBrg https://t.co/5XjCHUNsJz

When you get Daniel Newman and me together in front of a microphone at Ingram Micro ONE a few weeks ago, you never know what we might say about research, vendor evaluations, and the role AI will play in an...

15 years, 1 exit, a semi-failed ecommerce brand, and 3 moderately successful agencies into my career, Alex Fine🌲 asked me for the best piece of advice I'd give my younger self, if I were just starting out today: Just stay...
“Every hour spent recreating Salesforce or Workday is an hour not spent building the proprietary capabilities that actually move the business forward.” This is one of the more essential reason why most companies are not going to have AI clone their...
INTRODUCING FIZZY Have you noticed that every issue and idea tracking tool you loved slowly morphed into boring, sluggish, corporate bloatware? Trello put on 40 pounds of cruft. Jira started charging by the migraine. Asana tried to become everything to everyone. GitHub...

People saying I'm not valuing my time: Of course I do! At some point, I had to exchange my time for the money I'd use to pay for expensive cloud tools. Instead, I now pay upfront with a bit of my...

ABM is less about building a calendar of campaigns and more about building a system that listens and acts. And that’s super difficult. I’ve been spending a little more time understanding the new stage of ABM, and Tofu ’s dynamic...

You're not tricking anyone into buying anything. A "Learn More" CTA that goes to a form to contact sales, book a demo, or otherwise become a "lead" that will then be "nurtured" is not, in fact, increasing your conversion rate...

I picked the wrong enemy. When I started ProductLed , I studied how great categories were built. - Inbound Marketers declared war on Outbound. - CROs fought against "gut-feeling" updates. - Content Marketers hated pure advertising. The pattern was clear:...

B2C invests in knowing their customers. B2B invests in… another feature. In B2C, it’s normal (expected) to put a substantial amount of marketing budget into customer research (sometimes as high as 25-50%!) Why? Because they know the truth most B2B...
The dangerous myth: more steps mean better qualified leads. I've been duped by this myth before as a Founder. So I'm sharing it here so it doesn't sabotage your pipeline generation efforts. 1. Optimizing for Vanity Metrics I watched Startup...

Here are 5 cognitive biases that quietly drive most of your conversions: 1. Loss Aversion: People fight harder to avoid pain than gain pleasure. 2. Mere Exposure Effect: The more often someone sees you, the more they trust you. 3. Authority Bias: If it sounds like expertise, people...

Most brands treat BFCM like a cooldown lap when it should be a launchpad. The 14 days after BFCM are when your warmest traffic is still lingering: • Cart abandoners • First-time buyers • Engaged lurkers who didn’t convert If you go quiet or keep...
