I’ve been waiting for a moment like this. Google’s new quantum chip solved a 150-year-old problem in 2 hours. 13,000× faster than one of the world’s best supercomputers. That’s not incremental. That’s a different category. Their Willow chip ran an algorithm that models how atoms interact inside molecules. In simple terms, it gives us a new way of seeing structures that were previously invisible. As someone who has watched AI transform software, this feels similar. A shift in what’s computable. If this holds, it won’t just mean faster simulations. It could mean: → Faster drug discovery → New materials → New physics → And eventually, new tools for AI itself AI changed how we process information. Quantum may change what we can even understand. And that’s bigger. So here’s the question I’m thinking about: Are we ready for a world where the hardest problems stop being computationally impossible? #QuantumComputing #AI #Innovation #FutureOfWork #Technology #Science
A provocative new Harvard Business Review article is challenging everything we thought we knew about #AI in the workplace. “AI Doesn’t Reduce Work—It Intensifies It” shares findings from an eight-month study that reveal a counterintuitive truth: instead of lightening workloads, AI...
I'm much more bullish on the indiehacker doing $2k MRR on $50 / mo subs, than I am on someone who did $10,000 sales of lifetime deals. Getting people to buy something on a "one time" basis has gotten easier, in...

When cars first came out, people called them "devil wagons" and literally tried to ban them. When that didn't work, they shot at them and even set traps. Calling AI "slop" is the modern version of this. https://t.co/OoLW0Nl2sq
VLAs can enable vehicles to better handle complex edge cases: a VLM can "think through" a complex interaction, deduce a common sense behavior, and then a VLA can carry that out to maintain safe(r) behavior even in unusual situations.

During today’s nonstop rain, California’s “fight” against climate danger has featured mandated solar panels that produce no electricity and mandated paper bags that can’t carry groceries. “Fighting” climate via forced technological regression just makes us more vulnerable to it.

Your human users might only read the visible content in your page, but bots read the HTML comments :-) I appreciated this nugget from my EHI Export analysis, and I have to say that I agree with "kendra/sli", they had...
Asian equity markets are diverging into two camps: AI capex beneficiaries in East Asia and "old economy" companies in Southeast Asia. There will be an inflection point where the former peaks, and flows move towards the latter. But when?
The power of AI agents comes from: 1. intelligence of the underlying model 2. how much access you give it to all your data 3. how much freedom & power you give it to act on your behalf I think for 2 & 3,...
The Holodeck Report. I fed @blevlabs the book @IrenaCronin and I wrote "The Infinite Retina" and asked it to analyze X for what's happening right now when it comes to AI-driven 3D environments and things and it spit out this...

I remember when I was posting AI video threads 2 years ago and talking about how AI video would disrupt Hollywood. So many people couldn’t see beyond the early versions. And still, people probably see this and aren’t realizing what comes...

One thing I feel strongly about regarding AI is that, when it comes to trading, we are going to witness a streamlined cycle of signal degradation. Classical signals will become crowded very quickly. The market will rotate through those cycles faster...
