While the Union State, created in 1999, has accelerated integration after Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, only half of the 300 projects slated for 2024‑2026 are finished. Lukashenko urged Moscow to deliver on promised outcomes and outlined work on a 2027‑2029 successor treaty.
