The formulation extends ocular residence to roughly 70 minutes and reaches 300 µm in a 3‑D corneal model. It scavenges about 60 % of excess reactive oxygen species and suppresses angiogenic growth by 60.45 % in vitro. In vivo, treated eyes show markedly reduced neovascularization and lower inflammatory marker expression.
