Dubai Civil Aviation Authority issued a notice today: landing permissions at DXB and DWC are suspended for all foreign operators until further notice, citing the prevailing regional situation and safety of airlines, crews, passengers, and the public. Emirates has already canceled many flights and is advising affected passengers. IMO: this is a precautionary but very significant move.. shuts down the world’s busiest international airport to foreign carriers and will cause widespread disruptions.
