RTX has been awarded a non‑competitive contract worth up to $230.56 million to procure long‑lead‑time materials and components for F135 Lot 20 propulsion systems. The deal supports the production of 138 engines destined for the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, as well as foreign military sales customers. It is structured as a fixed‑price‑incentive and cost‑plus‑incentive‑fee contract, with work spread across more than a dozen U.S. facilities and a projected completion date of May 2031. Funding comes from Air Force, Navy, partner DoD and FMS sources, none of which expire this fiscal year.
