MUFJ Bank Adopts Private AI

MUFG Bank has officially integrated Private AI’s data‑anonymization platform into its OCEAN big‑data environment. The solution automatically detects and redacts personally identifiable information across emails, call‑center logs, PDFs and other unstructured sources in real time, all within an on‑premises, closed system. This enables the bank to safely apply generative and operational AI to previously untapped data sets. MUFG plans to leverage the technology to improve call‑center operations, fraud detection, risk management and internal knowledge sharing.
