Demand for On-Site Gyms Surge as Staff Wellbeing Takes Centre Stage

New research from gym equipment maker BLK BOX shows a sharp rise in demand for office‑based gyms across the UK. Google searches for “offices with gyms” jumped 2,366% and corporate gym build requests grew nearly 60% year‑on‑year. Employees increasingly value physical and mental wellbeing, with 58% of workers prioritising it and 89% of employers including mental health in their programmes. Companies see on‑site gyms as a tool to improve productivity, engagement and staff retention.
