The licence covers fiat‑to‑crypto exchange, custody, and cross‑chain wallet transfers, subject to bank‑style AML and CFT standards. With the EU grandfathering period ending around July, firms needing compliant partners will turn to Crossmint. The approval positions the company to capture demand from remittance firms, neobanks, and other fintechs as non‑licensed providers face wind‑down.
