Data‑center operator CloudHQ announced a $1.4 billion asset‑backed securities (ABS) offering, the first of its kind for the company. The ABS are secured by two leased, triple‑net facilities in Ashburn, Virginia, delivering a combined 160 MW of power across 403,410 sq ft. Both sites are occupied by investment‑grade hyperscale tenants with roughly 14 years remaining on their leases, and the securities mature in 2031 with final repayment in 2056. Moody’s expects CloudHQ to become a regular ABS issuer as it expands globally.
