The vessels, sized at 14,000 teu neo‑panamax, would cost roughly $170‑190 million each and are slated for deployment by COSCO’s liner arm, OOCL. If finalized, the order would expand COSCO’s already large new‑building pipeline, which already includes $2.7 bn of recent tonnage.
