Beaulieu Park station opened on 27 October, becoming the first new stop on the Great Eastern Main Line in a century. Located in the Chelmsford Garden Community, it supports a planned 10,000‑home expansion and includes extensive car, bike, and bus facilities. The £175 million project, funded by Essex County Council and partners, features a three‑platform layout that preserves freight traffic while offering half‑hourly services to London in under 40 minutes. Its modern design and strategic location aim to relieve pressure on the congested Chelmsford hub.
