Today's AI Lacks Consciousness; Future Remains Uncertain
I found some new clarity in explaining my point of view on AI consciousness. The AI we know today cannot and will not become conscious, but technology will evolve, and we evolve to want something different, teach it to do things that bring it closer to consciousness and perhaps completely create new life forms. In the meantime, don't worry about what AI wants. It's just using the language you want to hear. It has no intentions.
