A2 Milk has recalled three batches of its Platinum Premium infant formula in the United States after detecting cereulide, a heat‑stable toxin produced by Bacillus cereus. The recall covers 63,078 units, of which 16,428 were already sold to consumers through the company website, Amazon and Meijer stores. Cereulide cannot be neutralized by hot water and can cause nausea, vomiting and dehydration in infants within 30 minutes to six hours.
