Google Tests a Tool That Lets You Move ChatGPT, Other AI Chats to Gemini

Google is beta-testing a Gemini feature called “Import AI chats” that lets users upload conversation histories from ChatGPT and other generative AI platforms, preserving context for continued interactions. The tool would store imported chats in the user’s Gemini activity and use them to further train Google’s models, raising data‑privacy considerations. The feature appears as a simple file‑upload within Gemini’s attachment menu and is part of a broader push that includes higher‑resolution image generation and a video‑verification “Likeness” setting.
