Marco’s Pizza, based in Toledo, Ohio, has signed a franchise agreement to open 12 new restaurants in Southern California, to be owned and operated by franchisee Baljit Gill. The chain already runs three locations in the region—Upland, Fontana and Hesperia—and has two additional stores slated to launch in Yucaipa and Highland in early April. Site selection for the remaining units is underway. Marco’s Pizza now operates more than 1,200 stores across 35 states and several international markets.
