Stop lying in your proposals. It’s literally costing you business. I reviewed an agency proposal last week. They included hourly estimates for every phase. I asked: “Is this the way you’d prefer to do it?” They said no. “Then why is it in your proposal?” They didn’t have an answer. And they’re not alone. Most agency owners include things in proposals they don’t actually believe in: ↳ Hourly breakdowns—because they think clients expect them. ↳ Revision rounds—because they’re afraid of scope creep. ↳ Business jargon—because they think it sounds professional. Here’s the rule: never include anything in a proposal you wouldn’t or couldn’t defend in conversation. If a client asked, "Why is this $150/hr?" and you have no better answer than “because that’s our rate,” take it out. Your proposal should only contain things you believe, priced around outcomes you can deliver. Everything else erodes trust with your prospect.

🚀 AI-Powered Business Automation Strategies for Growth The way businesses operate is changing fast. Companies that want to stay competitive are no longer asking if they should adopt automation, but how to do it effectively. AI-powered business automation strategies are helping organizations...
I just ran 6 AI tools in one workflow. No API keys. No dashboard switching. No glue code. Just typed what I wanted and Claudcode + SkillBoss executed the entire thing. Here's the breakdown: 👇 https://t.co/GMbopPklHt
⚠️Reminder Systems/Software migration required focus. But short-term complexity is often the price of long-term leverage.

🚨 This is how engineers at Amazon, Google, and Shopify actually use Claude Code. It's called GSD (Get Shit Done) and it solves context rot the quality degradation that destroys your Claude Code sessions as the context window fills up. No BMAD....
🚨 I just scraped 10,000 pages without writing a single line of proxy code. It's called Oxylabs Web Scraper API and it handles IP blocks, CAPTCHAs, and JS rendering automatically. No custom scrapers. No maintenance hell. Here's how it works: ↓
Most people are still using AI tools. Top builders are using AI systems. One idea → auto task breakdown → right model → finished output. SkillBoss just showed everyone the difference.

In the 1990s, a legal assistant managed deadlines, documents, and court dates without a single productivity app. No fancy dashboards. No 47 tabs open. No endless notifications. Just a brutally simple system that worked. Maybe the problem isn’t that we need better tools. Maybe we need...

Many leaders chase more. I choose better. I thought growth meant more more meetings, more projects, more noise. It looked productive. It wasn’t. When everything matters, nothing does. Results improve when you remove what doesn’t move them. My rule: • Fewer priorities • Fewer meetings • Fewer distractions • Higher standards Simplicity...
You think doing everything yourself = control. But it actually equals mistakes, delays, and a client experience that is either sloppy , leaves you exhausted or both . You’re losing time, money, and sanity. An OBM who’s in your corner...

New randomized experiment shows AI narrows skill gaps. We found this among talent levels at the same job, but this paper looks at education. They find that AI reduces the gap between more & less educated people on a business...
If you want to sell or license, or scale your brand someday, you can’t be the one holding it together today. 🫢 You need to build a business that delivers consistent quality, with or without you in the room. That requires repeatable...

Recently, my Communication in Organizations class at RWU heard from Theresa Matos Agonia, Chief of Staff at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Two insights stood out: Internal stakeholders are the most important public. They must be intentionally prioritized. She also says leadership...

“20 ChatGPT prompts to boost your productivity.” Useful? Yes. Transformational? Only if used correctly. Here’s the nuance most prompt collections miss 👇 1️⃣ Prompts don’t create productivity — systems do GTD, Pomodoro, Eisenhower, Ivy Lee… These frameworks worked before AI. ChatGPT doesn’t replace discipline, prioritization, or clarity...

Why fragmented ownership quietly kills momentum There’s a moment in many companies where growth doesn’t stall — it dissolves. Nothing is obviously broken. The team is capable. Leaders are engaged. Everyone agrees growth matters. And yet, decisions feel heavier. Execution drifts. Momentum leaks. This is usually the point where...
Sales teams love to blame other departments. “They’re holding us back.” “They don’t get it.” “They’re risk-averse.” Here’s the truth. Without those coworkers, you would blow up the company. And without sales pushing, the company would stall. Patrick Lencioni and I break down why those...
You’re too busy building the “foundations” of your agency to work on the only thing that matters. You don’t need: ↳ A logo ↳ A CRM ↳ An LLC ↳ A tagline ↳ A website ↳ A rebrand ↳ A pitch deck ↳ A brand guide ↳ An office space ↳...

Being “always available” is quietly killing your focus. Email. WhatsApp. Messenger. Text. X. Checking them all? That’s hours gone every week. This isn’t a system problem. It’s a communication problem. Choose your main channel. Set response times. Tell people. Simple. Uncomfortable. Powerful. 👉 Read the full post and subscribe...
Controversial opinion: don't start with a semantic layer. A semantic layer makes sense when: - You have multiple consumers (BI, notebooks, apps) - KPIs are defined inconsistently across teams - You need a universal API for metrics If you're early stage with one BI tool,...

Productivity is war with your mind, Deadlines ticking, seconds decline. You plan, you slip, you fall behind, Excuses whisper, “You’ve got time” But you reset, redraw the line, Cut the noise and get aligned. Stack small wins, stay on the grind, Now your output compounds over time

For most companies, going "product-led" is a complete disaster, and they soon revert to a feature factory. It's a predictable pattern: • Product teams cheer. • Leadership steps back. • Accountability quietly disappears. • Then… it all blows up. WHAT COMPANIES THINK THEY ARE...
Key man risk is why most small businesses never sell. If your company depends on you, buyers apply a discount or walk away. In some service firms, the discount hits 100%, which means the business has no standalone value. Document processes, hire leaders,...

70% of business transformations fail. Not because of strategy. Because of culture. Big vision announced. Great slides shared. Everyone agrees. Two weeks later? Same behaviors. Strategy sounds good in meetings. Culture shows up on Monday morning. If leaders don’t model change… If incentives don’t shift… If standards aren’t enforced… Nothing changes. Without cultural alignment,...
Small workloads don’t beat big workloads. Focused workloads do. I’m beginning to see that one clearly defined priority outperform ten “important” tasks competing for my attention.
Most high performers do not have a discipline problem. They have a regulation problem. You are not lazy. You are overloaded. Burnout is not a character flaw. It is a biological response to chronic stress, constant stimulation, and lack of recovery. That is why nothing feels...
