Founding a company is both amazing, and at times amazingly hard. Every day you wake up to do things you have never done before. Here are a few rare "first founder" moments I'll never forget: - the first time pitching your idea to someone - the first deal signed - the first signup from someone you didn’t know - the first inbound demo booked - the first hire - the first self-serve signup - the first time waking up to a new customer signing up - the first customer outside Sweden - the first prospect who already used the product as an attendee - the first time a feature you built is used by 100s of live users - the first US customer - the first time your product is used in a language you don’t understand - the first conference you attend together as a team - the first time a customer recommends your product on LinkedIn - the first month profitable - the first time saying NO to a customer who’s not a good fit - first full week working from abroad - the first time you spot a logo in town and think "that's one of our customers" - the first time someone randomly at a party says "we used your product last month" These moments might seem small from the outside - but for founders, they mean the world.
