I did a lot of consumer research more than a decade ago for the auto industry. It drew the most heavy rejection of my career. “If a car drove up without a steering wheel would you take a ride with me?” One guy in Kansas told me: “I am a narcissistic control freak and there is no way I will let a computer drive me around!” Even in San Francisco I got 98% rejection. Yet Waymo sales keep going up. Remember Henry Ford? He said if he asked people what they wanted they told him a better horse. Everyone will change their belief about transportation in three years.
Jeremiah @jowyang just gave a great keynote at @siliconvalleyAI that led into mine. Which is in audio below. https://t.co/H3q42wYKGm
For anyone getting started with deep learning in 2025 and looking to do large scale training: use JAX + Keras 3. Unless you like suffering.

Have you witnessed the level of AI multitasking insanity happening right now? This is 6 Claude Code terminals running in parallel on my laptop. Multi-agent chaos is my new normal
Fascinating. @GoogleDeepMind's CEO @demishassabis predicts a world free of disease within 10 years! "AI could make drug development much faster, going from years to just months/weeks ...this might change healthcare completely and help end all diseases in the next 10 years" https://t.co/kDflHKJVfd
ChatGPT can unzip files, Claude cannot.

Next week, I’ll be giving my largest talk ever - speaking in front of 100s of thousands of AI-curious entrepreneurs live. Thank you to @deangraziosi and @TonyRobbins for knowing the info your audience needs and bringing in AI folks to help...
I ran lots of experiments on fp16 vs bf16 years ago on ViTs and LLMs. fp16 can work well but depends on normalization (so you don’t run over the supported range with your activations). I can see why with QKNorm...

Tomorrow on AI Chitchat, I will be talking with Parul Pandey learning, building and teaching with AI. Don't miss it! https://t.co/CNJjb8UAA1

Language models perform poorly on high-school math? 🙄 You don't want to hear this, but the problems started in grade-school. The moment we (collectively) found acceptable that mid-tier models could score only 75%-85% on a GSM test set of 1.32k straightforward...
I love @genspark_ai and tonight I met other customers who feel the same way. We heard @sang_wen cofounder talk about his company and open his Palo Alto headquarters. In the way to my robot that is driving me home I passed...
I was reading some papers. So, I thought I would use NotebookLM + some vibe coding to create this podcast style video. I will create 42 episodes to see if people find it useful. If not, I will stop. Enjoy!...

Wise and timely message, by Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex . In a world shaped by algorithms and automation, the greatest act of digital literacy is self-awareness. Humanizing technology means keeping empathy, creativity, and purpose at the center, using digital tools...
GPT-6 will be renamed GPT-6-7, you're welcome
Watching kids learn these first traits really does look a heck of a lot like reinforcement learning. Our twins' first mode of travel was just rolling to the desired location.
Crawling isn't innate (unlike walking). Every baby must *invent* crawling, from scratch, using extremely little data, and no reference to imitate. Which is why different babies end up with different ways of crawling. Sometimes people tell me, "you say AI isn't...

The speed of a faster coding model is worth it, but it seems mis-priced. C1 gobbles through files, reasons more, expect extra feedback to reach similar place as slower model do with less of everything. Intuitively it feels more expensive "the...
After some time of thought on the 1x Neo $20K for Neo is a significant investment with a lot of risk since the bot is proprietary. $500/month is an outright steal for housekeeping tho, even if it's through a teleoped robot. No need...

“Building in USA is 20x more expensive than in India or China.” (At small scales). Am in a talk by @anithpatel1 who is making an AI hardware device that listens and does a variety of things. Mostly for businesses with specialized...
The bottleneck for deep skill isn't usually intelligence, but boredom tolerance. Learning has an activation energy: below a certain skill threshold, practice is tedious, but above it, it becomes a self-sustaining flow state. The entire battle is persisting until that transition.
Flowith is bending my mind with its new AI OS. And Google’s multimodal model is what a lot of robot companies are using. I see where this is going.

AI's make mistakes. Can we learn from them? Yes! @IrenaCronin and I write this newsletter every week. AI mistakes, whether they reveal hidden biases, generate unexpected creative outputs, or highlight anomalies in data, can serve as valuable learning tools for humans. Instead of...
People (outside of tech) used to say "ChatGPT" to mean "an LLM chatbot", because most of the time, that's what it was. But recently I've been hearing a lot of "Gemini told me..." The writing is on the wall

A small follow-up to my DGX Spark post. Courtesy of NVIDIA, I got to try the DGX on my workflows (coding LLMs from scratch in pure PyTorch) and wanted to share my first impressions after using it for a week. Before...

🤖 How does Agentic AI work? 1️⃣ Collects data (APIs, sensors, logs, queries) 2️⃣ Reasons & plans with memory + context 3️⃣ Executes actions, learns from feedback 4️⃣ Produces autonomous, adaptive responses AI that doesn’t just respond — it acts. #AgenticAI #AI #Automation https://t.co/yII4pNCBMa
