AI Drafts Bulk Product Copy; Humans Ensure Accuracy
I was discussing how to migrate 460 tree nursery product descriptions to a new website. The team's first instinct was to just copy everything over and tweak it manually. That's... a lot of tweaking. We landed on a different approach: export all the existing product data, feed it to Claude along with the brand voice guidelines and content format requirements, let it do a first pass at rewriting everything, then have humans review before importing. The key word there is "review." The AI does the heavy lifting of reformatting and tightening up the copy, but someone still checks that the important details didn't get lost in translation. Things like specific growing conditions, flavor profiles, care instructions. The stuff that actually matters to customers making a purchase decision. It's a good example of where AI genuinely helps: tedious, repetitive work where the pattern is clear but the volume is painful. Nobody wants to manually rewrite four hundred product descriptions. But someone should absolutely sanity-check the output before it goes live. The goal was to cut the fluff and create more conversion-focused, keyword-rich content while keeping the essential product details intact. AI gets you 80% of the way there. The last 20% still needs a human who knows the products. #ContentStrategy #Ecommerce #AIWriting

Consultancies Remain Vital Despite AI Developer Tools
