Vermont Catalog of Pre-Approved Middle Housing Designs Harkens Back to Sears Catalog Homes

Vermont has launched the 802 Homes catalog, a publicly accessible library of pre‑approved, construction‑ready designs for missing‑middle housing types such as ADUs, duplexes, townhomes, cottages and small multiplexes. The initiative integrates design, permitting, infrastructure and financing into a single production system, shifting plan vetting upstream to reduce uncertainty.
