Grandparents Now Must Parent Their Adult Children
I’m a high effort parent who was raised by a low effort parent. And I’m realizing that my mother, as a grandmother with adult millennial children, has had to become a high effort grandparent/ parent to grandchildren/adults. This is because she’s having to show up for us through this atrocious timeline. There are traumatic and terrifying things that my mom learned to survive and sometimes thrive through that she realized her daughters may need to learn to survive and thrive through.
