From Skeptic to Advocate: AI Powers My Workflow
"Vibe marketing" used to be an insult to our community. And I was publicly trashing it. Six months later, 99% of my work runs through Claude Code: ▪️ Letting AI analyze the job interviews I've conducted, point out my weak spots, and build me an "interview prep" skill to nail the next ones. ▪️ Building out a keynote for Ahrefs Evolve by dictating my thoughts and pasting in links to reference material. ▪️ Saving transcripts of every call, asking AI to clarify anything that went over my head and update my personal knowledgebase. ▪️ Creating product positioning draft by analyzing a dozen (somewhat) similar products and feeding in my team's Slack messages about what we're building. ▪️ Writing a draft script for a video ad idea in ~10 minutes. ▪️ Building dozens of small apps and automations (see my earlier post). ▪️ And finally… this very post — dictated freestyle and polished by Claude, using a skill I built earlier. I was so wrong about vibe marketing. In my defense, six months ago AI failed to impress me no matter what I asked it to do. But the tools have caught up. Now I'm a believer.
