Cable operators leverage Wi‑Fi bundles to snag a third of new wireless customers
Cable giants Charter and Comcast have turned their extensive Wi‑Fi networks—carrying roughly 90 % of mobile data—into a competitive wireless advantage. The bundling strategy captured about one‑third of all new wireless customers in Q4 2025 and enabled lower‑priced plans, saving consumers an estimated $5 billion that year.
