In‑stent restenosis (ISR) remains a common, costly complication after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). A recent cohort of 454 patients evaluated the triglyceride‑total cholesterol‑body weight index (TCBI) alongside traditional metabolic ratios. The analysis showed TCBI achieved the highest predictive accuracy for ISR (AUC = 0.718) and was independently associated with higher restenosis risk. Mediation testing linked the TCBI‑ISR relationship to elevated uric acid and white‑blood‑cell counts, and the association persisted across multiple subgroups.
